Taco City DC Opens Its Brookland Location Today

When we found out in October that Taco City DC is opening a Brookland location we were really happy that the old Pho 12 location would not stay vacant for long and that a restaurant with such a great track record chose our neighborhood. (Taco City DC has a location in Southeast DC on 8th Street in the Barrack’s Row area.) We have good news to share with readers, we learned from the tweet below that they will have their grand opening today! They also sent us the following regarding opening opening hours:

Will be opening today at 3pm. Slowly but surely working on the rest of the week open/close holiday schedule hours. Will be closed on December 24th at 4pm and then open for dinner on the 25th after 3pm.

Back in the fall they said that the Brookland location will “serve an array of Mexican plates and of course awesome tacos’”. Here is the menu on their website. We can’t wait to try it out. Welcome to the neighborhood! Taco City DC Mexican Kitchen is located at 3740 12th Street NE.
