Small Business Saturday On The Arts Walk - Open Studios, Music And More

Small Business Saturday takes place the Saturday after Thanksgiving and encourages folks to buy local. Our Saturday famers market is participating by hosting an open studio event. From the Facebook event page:

Join us on the Arts Walk for Small Business Saturday! The Arts Walk is home to 27 studios featuring dozens of different artists, makers, and small businesses! Most of us will be open for the day with lots of love to share! Grab a passport from any open studio and collect stamps and stickers along the walk at at least six different studios for a chance to win a basket filled with goodies and perfect holiday gifts from the Arts Walk valued at over $300! You can earn a stamp by either purchasing something at a studio, tagging a studio on Instagram, or leaving a Google or Yelp review. All of these are great ways to support small businesses on Saturday, but also every day! We’ll also have festive music, pop-ups from other artists and makers, and a give-back partnership with N Street Village who will join us for the day. You can donate to them directly at the Arts Walk to support their mission to serve homeless women in the District. We are so excited to spend the day with you! Hooray for Small Businesses!
