The holidays are over, winter is here, and the skies have been gray for many days in a row. LET’S HAVE A PARTY!
2017 is here and many new things are coming to Stitch & Rivet- a freshly updated line, our new monthly Featured Maker and a new look to the workshop. Come celebrate our third year in business, check out the new work, and meet Jennifer Wilfong of Yummy & Co. our first Featured Maker. This event is family friendly, and there will be cake!
Stitch and Rivet is located at 716 Monroe Street NE, Arts Walk Studio #3
Stitch and Rivet, one of the studios at Monroe Street Market’s Arts Walk will be hosting a “Meet The Maker” series of one-day pop-up-shops featuring craft businesses from all over the DC area. The series will run from this Saturday through Saturday, November 21 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (during the Farmer’s Market hours). The pop-ups offer guests a chance to meet the makers of their favorite locally crafted products, many of which are sold at Stitch & Rivet year-round.

October 10: Annie Howe Papercuts, paper cuts and prints
- 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
*Demonstration and teaching workshop by Annie Howe of Annie Howie Papercuts. Space limited to four students. Cost is $65 per ticket, inclusive of all supplies and tools needed. Tickets can be purchased here.
October 17: Hooked & Loopy, crocheted figures
October 24: Tigerflight, reclaimed sweater pillows and toys
November 7: Yummy & Company, postage stamp sized landscapes and etched jewelry
November 14: Tasha McKelvey, ceramic pots and jewelry
November 21: TBD
