If you would like to give it a try, Brookland’s Finest has partnered with DC Brau for the weekend to serve their special Pride Pils from June 8-11. From a press release:
Proceeds from the sale of PRIDE PILS will benefit local LGBTQ youth empowerment program, SMYAL, and The Blade Foundation, which is dedicated to preserving the Blade’s legacy while funding new enterprise journalism projects and encouraging the next generation of LGBT journalists.

Brooklanders already depend on Salumeria 2703 for fantastic freshly made pasta, imported meats, cheese, and dry goods. Now they are raising their game by seeking a beer and wine license. Have you seen this gym? It IS GORGEOUS! Come out and join DC Volley at one of the BEST gyms in the city!
The league will run with Coed social rules with as many teams as possible making the Final Tournament.
Games begin April 7th.
Teams will play 6 vs 6 and are required to have at least 8 players on their rosters. We welcome free agents and small groups and will do our best to match players to teams!
Participants can be a team (8-11 people), or if you don’t have a team, smaller groups or individuals will paired up with other folks to make teams.
Registration is $70 and open until March 31st unless the divisions fill up first. Click here to register and for more information. As an added bonus there will be an end of season party with free beer at Steel Plate, which is the league’s sponsor. There will also be after game gatherings at Steel Plate with drink specials. Nice!
