It’s that time of the year again. I mean it is the time to unclutter your basement, pull out those vintage clothes that you haven’t put on in years, and ask yourself the question: “Do I really use that power tool?” Or are you just eager to rifle through used items and see, if you can find that treasure, or just something that you know you can give a new purpose.
Well, than this weekend is going to be the one you have been waiting for. The Greater Brookland Yard Sale is back. This coming Saturday May 10, from 10am to 2pm. See more details on the website put together and maintained by the Brookland Neighborhood Civic Association BNCA, which by the way just launched their new website.
You can still sign up as a seller and put your location on the digital map by using the “sign up” tab on the website.
As in previous years St. Anthony’s Church (12th & Lawrence) as well as Guildfield Baptist Church (12th & Newton) are offering tables for a $20 rental fee, if you would like to take advantage of the denser foot traffic and visibility on 12th Street.
Don’t forget to stop by and see what our friends from the Greater Brookland Garden Club have to offer this year, and support them with a purchase of one their plants.
This event has always been a great opportunity to walk our beautiful neighborhood, meet friends and make new ones.
