Tom Goss, Local Musician, Filmed His Latest Music Video In Brookland (NSFW)

We have been friends with Petworth-based musician Tom Goss for many years, he even sang at our wedding. So, of course we were thrilled when he decided to film large parts of his latest music video for the song “Bears” here in our neighborhood. There are scenes filmed in Brookland restaurant Little Ricky’s, along 12th Street NE and in a Brookland backyard on Irving Street, NE. The song is an homage to the “bear” community, a subset of gay men known for being big and burly. The video is meant as contrast to the stereotypical image of  the sharply dressed gay man, with a perfect gym body. Tom wanted to convey that everybody, regardless of size, can feel beautiful and sexy in their own way. The video even caught the attention of the Huffington Post. Warning  – this video is Not Safe For Work (NSFW) and features many half-naked, big, wet, hairy men.
