The Brookland Sign And Surroundings Need Help. YOUR Help.
The Brookland Neighborhood Civic Association and Friends of Rhode Island Avenue NE are teaming up for a cleanup effort. They will focus on the area between 12th Street and the Red Line tracks on RIA. I am excited because they plan on doing some cleanup and gardening around the Brookland sign at the corner of 12th Street and Rhode Island Avenue, NE. Come on out and make a difference in the community and meet some neighbors.
WHEN: October 13, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the NE corner of 12th and RIA
WHAT: General trash pick-up and some light gardening
