Save The Date – Brookland Celebration Of Lights (Trolley Tours)

We thought readers would like a heads up about one of Brookland’s holiday traditions, the Annual “Celebration of Lights”  on Sunday, December 13th. From 5:00–8:00 pm there will be trolley tours, driving past Brookland’s best and most elaborate light and decoration displays.  This is always a super fun neighborhood event and in recent years the trolley runs have sold out, so we recommend that you buy your tickets in advance. The trolley tours will depart from the Mekiti Group Plaza at 3401 8th Street NE. Hang around after the tour to enjoy snacks donated from our local restaurants.celebration of lights

  1. Can you share the link for ticket purchases, or when you anticipate that it will be available? We went two years ago but missed out last year, and the invite posted here does not say anything about how to reserve tickets.

    1. Same for me. We went in 2013 and loved it. We missed out on 2014 (sold out). Found out today (12/3) that the tickets went on sale on 12/1, but at 8:45 this morning, it was already sold out!

Here’s hoping with the best of Christmas Spirit and Cheer, that the Trolley ride supply can meet the demand. I am so ready to spread some holiday cheer with my neighbors, and kids’ friends.
