A couple of weeks ago, we wrote about cool food event for charity called BBQ World. The event was postponed,but now it is back on for this Sunday. Here is the info:
Nearby culinary incubator, Mess Hall, is a food community where DC-based food entrepreneurs come together to cook, share and collaborate. This Sunday, August 2nd, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, they will team up with local vendors for an all-you-can-eat event called BBQ World, which will raise funds for Miriam’s Kitchen, an organization dedicated to ending chronic homelessness in D.C. Highlights include:
- BBQ and sides from DCity Smokehouse, Logan’s Sausageand Sloppy Momma’s
- Beer from DC Brau
- Ice cream from Westray’s Finest Ice Cream including adult milkshakes made with One Eight Distilling vodka
