About a year ago we posted about Trinity Washington University‘s, plans for the construction of the Trinity Academic Center, a $40 million, 80,000-square foot building that will feature state-of-the-art science and health labs and classrooms. Recently, on Wednesday, September 10, over 100 students, faculty and staff gathered to celebrate the start of construction of the new Center. Once complete, the center will replace the Science Building, built in 1941; and in fact will be the first new academic facility on Trinity’s campus since 1963, when the library opened. The new center is viewed as a stepping stone to making renovations to Trinity’s Main Hall, which is the primary academic building on campus and is more than 110 years old. Congrats Trinity! Trinity Washington Unverstity is located at 125 Michigan Avenue NE.
